Virgin Mobile Canada Joins in September 24th Torch 9800 Launch

Bell, Telus, and Rogers have all confirmed that the Torch 9800 will be launching on Friday, September 24th, and now Virgin Mobile Canada has also confirmed via Facebook/Twitter that the device will be launching on that date. Pricing hasn’t been announced as of yet, but we’re pretty certain it will be set around $200 on a 3 year contract on most carriers.

So to summarize the Canadian launch of the Torch 9800:

• Rogers, Bell, Telus, and Virgin Mobile will be launching the 9800 on Friday, September 24th
• Pricing on a 3 year term will likely come in at around $200 on all four carriers
• There are 3 launch events planned – September 21st (Toronto), September 22nd (Vancouver), and September 23rd (Montreal)
• Rogers is rumored to be releasing the device in white shortly after the initial launch of the standard version
